Have you wondered about the ingredients in our Kanibi tinctures? Well, we’re a bit obsessed with the details ourselves, and we’re always happy to nerd out with curious customers. So without further ado, here’s the nitty gritty on what you’ll find in your Kanibi CBD Oil.
Whether you choose our Full Spectrum CBD Oil Tincture or our Pure CBD Isolate tincture, higher or lower potency, or whatever flavor makes your taste buds happy, you will be usingCBD oil sourced from organically grown hemp.
At Kanibi, we make a big deal of this, because hemp grown with pesticides and chemical fertilizers is not something you want to be putting into your body.
Furthermore, the hemp we use is grown on American farms, in full compliance with the 2018 farm bill. That means that our products are all 100% federally legal. That means that you’re supporting American farmers who are prioritizing ethical growing practices.
That also means thatthe hemp is grown with stringent regulatory oversight. Companies that source their CBD from abroad cannot guarantee the same standards of quality.
You may have noticed that all of our CBD tinctures have something in common. Namely, they all contain MCT oil.
CBD oil is naturally fat-soluble, so it needs to be dissolved in an oil. But there are lots of options for CBD carrier oils.So what’s so special about MCT oil?
MCT stands for medium chain triglycerides. (It’s a mouthful, we know.) Medium chain triglycerides are fats that are found in foods like coconut oil. And, as the name suggests, this kind of fat contains medium-length chains of fats (or triglycerides). But why does that matter? Their length is significant because it makes them easier to digest.
Because of this,MCT oil is more likely than other saturated fats to be used as energy rather than being stored as body fat. That sounds good, right? In fact, because MCT oil is digested so easily, it may allow your body to absorb more of the CBD in your tincture.
Apart from that, there are many ongoing scientific studies exploring the potential health benefits of MCT oil. We feel that this makes it the optimal carrier oil for our CBD. We figure our customers might as well benefit from both our CBD and a high-quality carrier oil at the same time.
All of our tincturescontain organic, domestically grown hemp and MCT oil. But after that, you’re going to have to make some choices. Here are some of the options you can choose from at Kanibi!
Our Full Spectrum CBD Oil tincture is our signature product and it contains a precisely dosed amount of CBD. Also, because we keep as many of the plant compounds intact as possible, your full spectrum tincture contains trace amounts of other cannabinoids as well.
Some scientists believe that cannabinoids work better when they are kept together, rather than isolated. The scientific jury’s still out on this, but it makes sense to us that those minor cannabinoids may have benefits of their own that we don’t want to miss out on.
It’s important to note that our full spectrum tincture also contains THC in trace amounts. We make sure the amount of THC is well within the legal limits (which according to the 2018 Farm Bill is 0.3%).That is nowhere near enough to even give you a mild high, so psychoactivity really isn’t an issue with such tiny amounts of THC.
However, if you are subject to drug testing for work or as a parole requirement, even tiny amounts of THC can build up in your system and cause you to fail a drug test. We don’t ever want our customers to experience a setback like this, which is why we provide other options.
This segues neatly into our Pure CBD Isolate tincture….
For those of you who really need to avoid even tiny, trace amounts of THC, we offer a premium Pure CBD Isolate tincture.
So what is CBD isolate?Well, frankly, it’s just what it sounds like.
After the CBD-rich oil has been extracted from the hemp plant, it goes through further purification until you’re left with a fine white powder known as CBD isolate. We carefully dissolve a precise dose of that isolate into our premium MCT oil(and add flavor for those who want it). And voila!
There are no other cannabinoids present whatsoever, including THC, so it’s a great option if you just want to benefit from pure CBD oil.
No two people are alike and there’s not one, standard dose for CBD oil. On the other hand, there’s really no benefit (to customers, at least) in offering a huge array of CBD tincture potencies.
Generally speaking, the lower the CBD potency of a tincture, the more the customer pays per milligram of CBD. When you buy higher potency CBD tinctures, you’re saving yourself money in the long run.
So we offer two solid potencies: 750 mg or 1500 mg.This allows for a broad dosing range, without messing around with low potency CBD oils.
And we make our CBD oil very easy to use, with clear, marked droppers so you can dose as little or as much as you want.
Finally, you’re also going to have to choose from one of our refreshing flavors.Again, we’ve prioritized using the best ingredients possible. When it comes to flavors, that means using only natural ingredients.
And as a sweetener, we’ve chosen to use Stevia, since who needs the extra sugar?
Since we recommend that our customers hold the tincture under the tongue for a full minute, we’ve worked hard on our flavors. We don’t want taking CBD to feel like a chore!
So there you have it! From seed to bottle, we obsess over every ingredient that goes into our Kanibi products. We hope you’re as happy with them as we are!
